After we signed our original lease, the rental property was sold. Our previous lease ran from mid-month to mid-month, and the new owner is aligning rental periods and payments with calendar months. We signed a new lease with the new owner at the same monthly rent. This payment covers 1.5 months, from August 15 through September 30, to align with the new calendar-month payment schedule.
